Maagal is a private network. We built it for a small circle, not for the open internet. This policy is plain English about what we collect, why, and who helps us run the service. We are straightforward. We are not here to monetize your attention or peddle your profile.
If you want a consumer app that begs for forgiveness later, this is not it. We still respect the law, your dignity, and the fact that you trusted us with an account.

The app is distributed as Maagal (bundle identifier com.hankified.maagal).
Depending on how you use Maagal, we may process:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not run ads inside Maagal on that model.
Where GDPR-style rules apply, we rely on contract (providing the service you asked for), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the product within reason), and consent where we explicitly ask for it. Where U.S. state laws apply, we honor applicable rights as described below.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of members and the service. A business transfer (merger, acquisition) may involve a successor assuming this role under appropriate safeguards.
We keep information as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, accounting, or security purposes. You may request deletion where applicable law requires us to honor it, subject to exceptions (for example finished transactions Apple requires us to retain evidence of).
We use industry-standard practices for a small team: access controls, encryption in transit, and providers that specialize in infrastructure security. No online system is perfect. If we become aware of a breach that affects you where notification is required, we will follow applicable law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain data, or to opt out of certain processing. Contact us at the email below. We may need to verify you before acting. You can also adjust some data inside the app where we expose controls.
Maagal is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
We operate from the United States and use providers that may process data in the U.S. and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top and, if the change is material, provide notice as the law and product reasonably require. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy unless law says otherwise.
